The 6-6.5x47 Lapua is made by necking down the 6.5x47 Lapua
to a 6 mm. I used a

Forester FL die by just adjusting the die
down in the press until the neck was squeezed down to 6 mm to
the shoulder and I had just a little bit of bolt crush. This
will make the case expand to fit the chamber correctly. My
barrel is a Lilja 10 twist so I can shoot up to a 100 gr.
I want to shoot 75, 87 and 95 gr. bullets in this gun. The 75
and 87's will be my main groundpig/varmint rounds. I have worked
up loads for all of them but I need to work on the 95's to fine
tune them for the egg shoot. The rifle was built by
Richard Franklin
using
Greg Wests
Model 10 varminter stock. The action is the new Bat 3-lug,
Right Bolt/Right Port. Of course I have a Nightforce 8x32x56 NXS
mounted on a Ken Farrel 20 MOA base.
