Wow, What A Day!

This morning was my last hoggin' opportunity for two reasons. First, the season is
over tomorrow here in NJ and second, we leave for Florida in less that two weeks.
So, I went to the place I knew would be the most productive, the golf course of
course.

Instead of taking the 204 or the 22-250 (couldn't take that anyway; not back from
Savage yet), I took my Marlin model 60 in 22 long rifle because it make so much less
noise.

Every single one of the 10 hogs I got in three hours of hunting were head shots
except the first. Before you say wow, I did hit six that got away. Probably
because they were beyond the 40 to 60 yard range where I know I can hit em good.
Don't like for that to happen. I prefer clean, humane kills!

Anyway, check out the ten pictures that follow, especially the black one. Anyone
every see a black groundhog before? Not me!

See you next season.
