A very good evening in June 2003

Man ...did I have.......

a good evening!! Nailed two groundpigs...a big mammy an a baby. Was sittn' there glassing an looked to where I had just popped those pigs when here comes a coyote trotting from behind the barn!! She trotted to the left of where the xpired pigs layed when all of a sudden she stopped dead. She looked dead at me while I was fumbling trying to slip a round in the Nesika 6mm br. I said oooo sh*t.....she made me!!!! Then all of sudden she poked her nose in the air like a periscope an bam she hauled butt straight for of the dead pigs!! I trained the cross hairs on her .....(you ever try to lead a varmint with an 1 1/2 oz. trigger?) an whistled .......never let up.....whistled again.....brakes went on at 198 yards and a 87 gr. VMax was on it's way. POP!! That lovely sound of those VMax's make when they contact meat.......down for the count!! Now that was a lovely evening.......
