My name is Joseph and I shot this hog in Georgetown Tennessee on my uncles cattle farm. I shot this hog at 155yrds with my New England Firearm chambered in 223. The loads were 52g HPBT Sierra with a powder charge of 26.6g of Varget.

Big Dog

Hello, my name is Eric McClenathan and I live in Cedar Rapids, IA.  I also use a wheelchair and I go out to SD every summer to shoot some pesky prairie dogs.  I use a  Remington 788 chambered in .222 Remington and 50 grain Remington Hollow Points behind 23.5 grains of AA 2015.
I would also like to mention that a group called the Wheelin Sportsmen is an awesome group who helps those of us who have some mobility issues get out in the field and hunt fish and other activities.  Visit them at WheelinSportsmen.org  This group is a division of the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Recently I went on an Elk hunt with country singer Aaron Tippin  which again was sponsored through the Wheelin Sportsmen group  here is a pic of me and my big beast.

Some day it doesn't pay to get up.

The gun used to harvest the Fox is a Cooper 57M chambered in 22LR.. I called it in with an open reed mouth call alternating between distressed rabbit sounds and rodent distress sounds.
Called him in to 25 yards and took him with one shot behind the shoulder blade. He made it about 10 feet after the shot and was done. Quick and humane. The way I like to get it done!

Hello

Went groundhog hunting for the 1st time this year today, March 11, 2005. I
was hunting in a hay field in West Chester, PA. Killed 2 small ones out of the
same hole. I spotted a large sow along the fence row and made a nice shot on
her as well.
